Driverless and Autonomous: The Drive Comes from Braunschweig

News

With its new decentralized servo drives, Metronix sets another milestone in the equipment of automated guided vehicles (AGVs).

The latest members of the smartServo BL4000 platform are available for two operating voltages: 48 VDC and 230 VAC. Thanks to their compact design, the devices can be mounted directly on the motor or positioned separately in close proximity – wherever space is available inside the vehicle.

With the BL 4104 and BL 4840 models, the company from Lower Saxony has succeeded in giving autonomous transport systems another performance boost – particularly in terms of efficiency and overload capacity. The new devices are also well suited for additional drive tasks in material handling and packaging technology.
